Dark Cherry Dark Chocolate Cake

This is actually my mother’s baking experiment.  She loves chocolate and dark cherries and decided on a colder night to bake.  Multiple layers of chocolate cake, ganache, and dark cherry jam later this was the result.  Leaning and jiggling, it was so heavy it wasn’t going to topple, but it liked to keep us on our toes.  Fondant and properly covering with frosting seemed laughable at this point and we just poured ganache over the top which dripped down.  It was delicious, messy, and sticky, thus I dub it “crumblicious”!
