Macaroni & Cheese with Bacon and Peas!

The Pioneer Woman’s Baked Macaroni & Cheese

4 cups Dried Macaroni

1 whole Egg Beaten

¼ cups (1/2 Stick Or 4 Tablespoons) Butter, unsalted

¼ cups All-purpose Flour

2-½ cups Whole Milk (i used 2% just fine)

2 teaspoons Dry Mustard (I skipped this one – didn’t have any on hand)

1 pound Cheese, Grated (sharp cheddar cheese + Parmesan)

½ teaspoons Kosher Salt

½ teaspoons Ground Black Pepper

½ teaspoons Cayenne Pepper

½ teaspoons Ground Paprika

½ teaspoons Thyme

2/3 package of thick cut bacon, crisped and crumbled in

1 cup of frozen peas, warmed and tossed in

((don’t crumb the top – makes the rest gritty))
